Principal Software Engineer - PubMatic AgenticOS (Buy Side Bidding Platform)

📋 Description

• Architect, design, and build ultra-low-latency RTB systems for buy-side ads.
• Lead bidder services handling millions of QPS with strict latency and SLAs in Golang/C/C++.
• Design campaign pacing, budgeting, and delivery optimization across CPA, ROAS, CTR, CVR.
• Own core systems for deal execution, auction participation, and bid optimization.
• Build data pipelines for impressions, clicks, conversions, and attribution (Kafka, Flink, Spark).
• Collaborate with ML engineers to productionize bid optimization and reach forecasting models.

🎯 Requirements

• Eight+ years of software engineering in ad tech/performance advertising.
• Strong Golang experience building low-latency, high-scale backends.
• Proven experience designing and operating RTB platforms, bidders, or ad serving systems.
• Deep understanding of campaign pacing, budgeting, and optimization algorithms.
• Experience with streaming and distributed systems (Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming).
• Familiarity with OpenRTB, VAST, and programmatic ad workflows.
• SQL, PostgreSQL, and large-scale analytics (Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar).
