• Lead initiatives within Elasticsearch to improve search relevance and speed.
• Design and implement new search features; fix bugs and optimise performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Java with core libraries, data structures, and concurrency.
• Deep expertise in Elasticsearch search relevance and vector search tech.
• Experience with distributed systems and data stores (Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience building scalable search algorithms (HNSW, IVF) in production.
• Ability to own design, implementation, reviews, and shipping of features.
• Autonomous, able to collaborate asynchronously across global teams.
