📋 Description

• Lead initiatives to improve Elasticsearch search and relevance.
• Design and implement new search features and bug fixes.
• Invent or adapt algorithms/structures for scalable search.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team via email, GitHub, Slack.
• Own technical direction for search capabilities and performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience with search and vector databases; used HNSW or IVF.
• Strong Java skills; deep knowledge of core data structures and concurrency (lambdas).
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Lucene-based search tech.
• Familiar with data storage tech: Elasticsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra.
• Able to work autonomously and drive projects end-to-end.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and diverse teams.
