Principal Solution Architect - Data Platform Security

📋 Description

• Lead architecture, hardening, and security improvements for Snowflake platforms.
• Translate requirements into roadmaps, governance, and secure delivery practices.
• Design proactive monitoring and threat detection with SIEM integration.
• Use threat modeling to identify and remediate risk across access, data sharing, and network controls.
• Guide governance, authentication, privileged access, and data protection across platforms.
• Mentor engineers and improve managed Snowflake services for security and reliability.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in cloud/data infra with security engineering; BS in CS/Eng or related field.
• Snowflake platform security expertise (RBAC, data protection, governance), with preferred certifications.
• Hands-on Snowflake audit/telemetry data using ACCOUNT_USAGE views for investigation.
• Experience integrating Snowflake logs into SIEM/monitoring (Splunk, Datadog, etc) and log pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of network, identity, secrets management, and access controls (private endpoints, MFA, SSO).
• SQL, Infrastructure as Code, Python automation, and CI/CD for secure platform delivery.
