Principal Solutions Engineer

📋 Description

• Support sales by showing customers what Okta enables
• Understand customer requirements and communicate cloud tech value
• Deliver POCs for complex use cases with other Okta Eng teams
• Craft technical content showing how to implement use cases/methodologies
• Prepare demos/POCs to demonstrate Okta Platform use cases
• Distill customer needs and feedback to PM/Eng/Marketing/Sales

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years pre-sales engineering experience
• Customer-facing experience, ideally solutions engineering
• Ability to communicate complex ideas quickly, on a whiteboard
• Experience with OAuth2, SAML, or LDAP
• Hands-on web/mobile/backend development experience
• Understanding core security concerns (hashing, TLS, XSS, XSRF)
