Principal/Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and operate enterprise platform systems for security, reliability.
• Develop a new API suite to unlock Avatar tech for external tools.
• Collaborate with AI tooling to speed delivery (Claude, Cursor).
• Own multi-month projects across teams; break down complex problems into steps.
• Collaborate with product, security, legal, and infra to translate requirements.
• Use observability and metrics to meet performance, reliability, and compliance goals.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years as a software engineer at senior/staff level.
• Experience building and operating systems at scale in platform/enterprise teams.
• Strong development and system design skills; stack includes Python, React, AWS.
• Experience with enterprise-grade concerns: security, compliance, data handling, multi-tenant.
• Own systems in production: observability, incident response, reliability improvements.
• Ability to work across teams and drive end-to-end technical initiatives.
