Principal System Debug Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead scalable debug solutions for server compute systems and rack-level platforms.
• Drive debug centers of excellence and triage methodologies spanning hardware, firmware, and
• Collaborate across System Validation, Architecture, Silicon, and Rack Firmware to resolve issues
• Develop automated debug strategies to maximize throughput and POR quality.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in system validation and debug methodologies.
• Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Extensive validation and debug experience involving OS, firmware, silicon, and hardware issues.
• Deep understanding of server interconnects and software stacks (PCIe, CXL).
• Experience with Arm CPU or x86 architectures, SoC design, memory subsystems, RAS, and power
• Experience with system architecture, debugging, and validation strategies.
• Strong knowledge of platform- and system-level debug methodologies (OS, device drivers, BIOS).
