Principal Systems Architect

📋 Description

• Develop and own ground-segment architecture for satellite missions.
• Architect and manage software requirements for As-Is and Target architectures.
• Align requirements with customer programs, roadmaps, and strategic vision.
• Translate requirements into engineering specs for the architecture.
• Coordinate across software, systems and product teams to plan execution.
• Manage risks and deliverables across space and ground systems.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years related experience; 5+ years in systems architecture/engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Experience architecting complex software systems.
• Kubernetes and on-prem deployments experience.
• Proficient in Golang, C++, or Python.
• Eligible to obtain US Security Clearance (US Citizenship).
