Principal Technical Consultant, Okta

📋 Description

• Lead multiple concurrent customer deployment projects to ensure long-term success.
• Provide hands-on post-sales consulting and deployment services for Okta customers.
• Gather, analyze, and document post-sales requirements; communicate with customers/partners at the appropriate level.
• Design and deploy solutions that deliver customer satisfaction and align with goals.
• Manage project scope, schedule, status, and documentation; mentor customers.
• Apply identity federation protocols and cloud architectures during integrations (e.g., SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and related tech stacks.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years experience as a technical consultant delivering solutions to external customers.
• Experience with identity federation protocols: OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, WS-Federation.
• Software development experience: Java, Ruby, .Net, PHP, REST/JSON, etc.
• Knowledge of enterprise web technologies, security and complex IT landscapes.
• Experience with JavaScript and MVC frameworks (Backbone, Angular, Ember, React).
• Ability to work independently and multi-task; superb communication skills.
• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline required.
• Access to federal environments and/or U.S. Person status; onsite in Northern Virginia; must have active Top Secret Clearance.
