Principal Technical Writer

📋 Description

• Lead creation and publication of product user guides and release notes
• Partner with engineers and PMs to translate complex technical info
• Establish documentation standards, content structures, and publishing processes
• Manage cross-functional documentation projects and publishing schedules
• Oversee accuracy, consistency, and approval of external documentation
• Research and validate content when specifications are limited

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, CS or equivalent
• 10-15 years of experience in technical writing for software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Visio
• Experience in software development environments and collaboration
• Excellent written and verbal communication and research skills
• Ability to work remotely from the US, aligning with Eastern Time
