Principal Trader

📋 Description

• Build and run EXANTE’s principal trading book across asset classes.
• Provide liquidity against client flow, manage inventory, hedge risk.
• Hedge residual exposure to generate P&L within regulatory, best-execution, and conflicts framework.
• Collaborate with Risk, Operations, Treasury and Tech on workflow and tooling.
• Manage conflicts of interest and ensure best execution across booking entities.
• Lead desk growth in line with the approved business plan.

🎯 Requirements

• 10–20 years in principal trading and market making.
• Multi-asset trading experience with P&L across regimes.
• MiFID II, Systematic Internaliser, best-execution, and conflicts familiarity.
• Securities financing and stock lending operations experience.
• Cooperative, across-desk collaborator.
• Fluent English; commercial mindset with P&L accountability.
