Principal Trader

📋 Description

• Build, run and develop EXANTE’s principal trading book across asset classes.
• Provide liquidity against client flow; manage inventory and hedge exposure.
• Generate P&L within regulatory, best-execution and conflicts of interest rules.
• Work with Risk, Operations, Treasury and Tech on risk limits and tooling.
• Onboard exchanges, prime brokers, and OTC counterparties for hedging.
• Ensure conflicts of interest and best-execution compliance across bookings.

🎯 Requirements

• 10–20 years’ experience in principal or flow trading across a multi-asset book.
• Multi-asset risk management: delta, gamma, vega, liquidity.
• Regulatory expertise: MiFID II Systematic Internaliser, best-execution and conflicts.
• Securities financing familiarity: stock lending operations.
• Cooperative profile: cross-desk collaboration with existing desks.
• Fluent English mandatory.
• Commercial mindset with full accountability for P&L.
