Principle Engineering Field Technician

📋 Description

• Support installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of Form’s battery systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to identify root causes and mitigations
• Perform software and firmware upgrades and networking system configuration
• Execute commissioning and test plans to characterize the performance of battery systems
• Lead performance testing, collect data, and document results to improve product performance
• Maintain tools, vehicles, equipment, and a safe work environment at project sites

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of advanced technical field experience with high-powered equipment, preferably with utility-scale energy storage systems
• Expertise in complex systems integration, including high-voltage troubleshooting, control circuit diagnostics, and CAN/Modbus/Ethernet
• Ability to interpret and execute electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Proficiency in high-voltage instrumentation (power electronics, megger meters, amp clamps) and interfacing with pumps, tanks, piping
• Uncompromising safety mindset with risk assessment and heavy construction experience
• Comfort with heavy PPE (CAT 2/4) and long hours; valid driver's license
