Privacy and Security Counsel

📋 Description

• Evaluate data protection terms in contracts and privacy policies.
• Draft external privacy notices and update internal policies.
• Advise product, safety, engineering and support teams on privacy.
• Support privacy rights requests and DPIAs.
• Monitor regulatory developments and identify risk factors.
• Counsel on user and employee data practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of privacy law experience.
• Working knowledge of COPPA, GDPR, CCPA, or international privacy laws.
• Background in children’s/teen privacy a plus.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (CA preferred).
• Strong business judgment and practical, actionable advice.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
