Process Engineer, Welding

📋 Description

• Lead continuous improvements to optimize welding processes, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve welding issues while maintaining quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for welding systems.
• Establish KPIs to drive improvements and meet production targets.
• Ensure safety and EH&S compliance across welding operations.
• Leverage PLM, MES, and ERP for manufacturing insight and sustainability tracking.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in welding-focused manufacturing.
• Bachelor's in Mechanical Eng, Materials Science, Welding Eng, or equivalent.
• Deep expertise in laser, resistance, and ultrasonic welding; LWM a plus.
• Advanced stats for process decisions (JMP or Minitab) with SQL querying.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and mentoring weld teams.
• DFMEA and PFMEA development with robust risk controls.
