Process Modeling Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and use internal process modeling tools to determine optimal operating conditions for
• Continuously update and improve process models based on design developments, operational data, and
• Translate Aspen model outputs into Excel-based tools that generate equipment lists, minimum
• Automate model outputs using VBA or similar technologies to generate vendor-ready equipment
• Collaborate with relevant engineering personnel to transfer process model outputs into Aspen
• Compare internal capital cost estimates with estimates from external engineering and design firms

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Relevant post-undergraduate experience equivalent to one of the following: a bachelor's degree plus
• Demonstrated experience performing techno-economic analysis for highly integrated industrial
• Hands-on process engineering experience in an industrial environment or chemical manufacturing
• Knowledge of methods for representing and modeling heat and mass transfer in porous materials.
