Processing Cost Analyst

📋 Description

• Build scalable accounting processes to support global growth in payment processing cost accounting
• Partner with product, go-to-market, and Finance teams to understand new products, features, and
• Partner with systems and engineering teams to improve financial systems and automate accounting
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and design processes and controls for emerging
• Develop and maintain current accounting procedure documentation
• Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, balance-sheet

🎯 Requirements

• Professional accountancy qualification, such as CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, and 2–3 years of
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience with monthly or quarterly close processes, journal-entry preparation and posting
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606, and experience with internal controls
• Ability to structure ambiguous work, solve problems using Excel, build systems and automation
• Experience in the technology or payments industry
