Procurement Associate - 6 Months Contract

📋 Description

• Source & Negotiate for Chemicals & Selected Consumables
• Research and identify potential vendors for chemicals required
• Work with Procurement Administrator to ensure accuracy and timely PO creation
• Monitor supplier performance and safety of chemical deliveries
• Manage supplier evaluation and selection; communicate reasons for rejection or re-sourcing
• Monitor inventory levels of re-sale items and ensure timely replenishment

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in chemical procurement (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
• Self-starter with initiative; strong creativity and problem-solving skills
• Negotiation, planning, organizing, and attention to detail
• Reliable with good work ethic; able to meet deadlines
