Procurement Manager

📋 Description

• Personally manage the end-to-end procurement process for key categories - from sourcing and RFPs
• Directly negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels with vendors, rather than delegating
• Own and maintain vendor relationships day-to-day, including troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Process and manage purchase orders and requisitions directly when needed, especially during
• Partner closely and directly with Finance, Legal, IT, and department stakeholders to resolve
• Monitor vendor performance and compliance, personally following up on issues rather than waiting

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of procurement experience, with a demonstrated preference for hands-on, execution-focused
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of personally closing favorable vendor deals
• Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to do whatever it takes - from high-level strategy to
• Experience with procurement/ERP systems (e.g., Olive, Tropic, NetSuite)
• Strong analytical skills - comfortable building your own spend analyses rather than relying solely
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with stakeholders across departments
