Procurement Specialist

📋 Description

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies for cost optimization and supply chain
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and ethical standards
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and mutually beneficial
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, issue resolution, and long-term
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and pricing fluctuations
• Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns, and implement inventory management strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or a related
• 2+ years in procurement/purchasing in a fast-paced, competitive environment in the Indian market
• In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies and best practices
• Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimisation and negotiation techniques
• Knowledge of vendor management and inventory management systems
• An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
