Product Accounting Manager, Cash App

📋 Description

• Partner with engineering and product teams to build scalable revenue recognition in Oracle.
• Review revenue recognition processes and implement improvements for close timeliness.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for Cash App products.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and establish intercompany processes.
• Interface with Internal Audit and external public accounting on technical accounting matters.
• Collaborate with Finance, Strategy, Accounting, Tax, Counsel, and Treasury on day-to-day needs and SOX.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in internal or external audit, GL accounting, and/or revenue accounting.
• Strong technical expertise in GAAP.
• Oracle Cloud experience a plus.
• Passion for Block; strong interest in technology and industry knowledge.
