Product Communications Manager, OSS

📋 Description

• Own external product storytelling for Agent Stack, Core Platform, and OSS.
• Translate ships into narratives for developers, press, and market.
• Oversee OSS communications for Next.js and related tooling.
• Build narratives for how Vercel's products fit together in infra/framework.
• Create owned and social content with Content Engineering.
• Engage with open source communities and events.

🎯 Requirements

• 6-8 years in communications, PR, or product marketing with dev-tools exposure.
• Strong writer who translates technical work into developer-friendly narratives.
• Comfortable working with engineers/PMs and senior tech leaders; pull stories.
• Experience managing multi-channel, cross-functional programs for developer audiences.
• Familiarity with frontend/JavaScript ecosystem (Next.js, runtimes, tooling) is a plus.
• Self-directed with end-to-end ownership in a fast-moving environment.
