Product Compliance Manager

📋 Description

• Advise product, business, and ops teams on compliance for new card programs from concept to launch.
• Review terms, pricing, disclosures, and flows to align with regs and bank requirements.
• Interpret Reg Z, Reg E, Reg DD, Reg B, UDAAP, and FCRA for product decisions.
• Identify regulatory issues early and propose workable, defensible solutions.
• Embed disclosures, terms, and regulatory elements into new launches.
• Build and maintain product-compliance checklists, intake, sign-off workflows, and records.
• Partner with issuing banks on reviews and sign-off; respond to inquiries.
• Escalate high-risk or novel issues with analysis and recommendations.
• Contribute to regulatory change management and training across the organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 4 to 7 years of experience in compliance within banking, fintech, or consumer financial services.
• Hands-on experience reviewing consumer financial product features, pricing, disclosures, or flows for regulatory compliance.
• Working knowledge of consumer protection regs across credit and debit card products.
• Ability to translate regulation into practical, customer-friendly product guidance.
• Clear written and verbal communication with ability to give defensible recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple product workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, advisory mindset; comfortable partnering with product, business, design, and operations.
• Comfort using AI tools to work more efficiently and expand coverage.
• Proven ability to operate independently without a defined playbook or daily check-ins.
