Product Counsel

📋 Description

• Advise Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams on legal issues across the product lifecycle.
• Review new products, features, and initiatives; provide timely, business-focused legal guidance.
• Counsel teams on IP, software licensing, privacy, AI, security, and regulatory matters affecting products.
• Develop scalable legal guidance, policies, playbooks, and training materials for teams.
• Partner with commercial, privacy, security, compliance, and corporate legal colleagues to drive alignment.
• Monitor evolving legal and industry developments and translate them into actionable guidance.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 4-7 years of SaaS counseling experience.
• Deliver high-quality legal analysis and execution across product matters.
• Excellent oral and written communication with technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments to drive results.
• Creative mindset to find solutions when others see barriers.
