Product Counsel

📋 Description

• Advise Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams on product legal issues.
• Review new products/features and provide timely legal guidance.
• Counsel on IP, software licensing, privacy, AI, security, and regulatory matters.
• Develop scalable legal guidance, policies, playbooks, and training.
• Partner with commercial, privacy, security, compliance, and corporate teams to align.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate into actionable guidance.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 4-7 years of relevant SaaS legal experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication for technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Experience advising software/SaaS/cloud infrastructure; OSS licensing a bonus.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance legal workflow efficiency.
