Product Counsel

📋 Description

• Advise Product, Engineering on legal issues across the lifecycle.
• Review new products/features and provide timely legal guidance.
• Counsel on IP, licensing, privacy, AI, security, and regulatory concerns.
• Develop scalable legal guidance, policies, and training materials.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and align.
• Monitor evolving laws and translate into actionable guidance.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 4-7 years of relevant SaaS legal experience.
• Deliver high-quality legal analysis across product matters.
• Strong oral and written communication for diverse audiences.
• Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Creative mindset and problem-solving ability.
• Experience advising software/SaaS/cloud licensing and governance (bonus).
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to improve legal workflow.
