Product Designer - US EST Hours

📋 Description

• Product Design: Develop products from concept through prototyping and production.
• 3D CAD Modeling: Create production-ready CAD models from requirements.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings and specifications.
• Mechanical Features: Design hinges, latches, locks, slides, and modular assemblies.
• Design for Manufacturing: Apply DFM for injection-molded parts, including tolerances and tooling.
• Material Selection: Recommend materials based on function and cost.

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of experience designing physical consumer products from concept through production.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Creo, Inventor.
• Experience designing injection-molded plastic products and functional mechanical assemblies.
• Strong experience creating engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and production-ready CAD files.
• Understanding tolerances, materials, tooling, and DFM principles.
• Experience evaluating prototypes and refining designs through multiple iterations.
