📋 Description

• Design and analyze mechanical components for exterior products.
• Take designs from concept through production launch.
• Use NX and/or SolidWorks to create models, assemblies, and drawings.
• Design for outdoor exposure including wind, UV, temperature extremes, moisture, and corrosion.
• Define design requirements, test criteria, and validation methods.
• Conduct DFMEA and tolerance analysis and participate in design reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• BSME or equivalent experience required.
• Experience designing mechanical components for consumer or architectural products.
• Proficiency in NX and/or SolidWorks; plastic injection molding and extrusion design.
• Familiarity with metrology tools and statistical analysis methods.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience with exterior/outdoor products is a strong plus.
