Product Development Engineering

📋 Description

• Design, analyze, validate mechanical components for exterior products.
• Develop solutions for new products, enhancements, and quality issues.
• Use 3D CAD tools (NX and/or SolidWorks) to create models and drawings.
• Design for outdoor exposure: wind, UV, temp extremes, moisture.
• Define design requirements, tests, and validation methods for safety and standards.
• Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-ups, DFMEA, and statistics.

🎯 Requirements

• BSME or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience designing mechanical components/assemblies for consumer or architectural products.
• Experience with exterior/outdoor products is a plus.
• Proficiency with NX and/or SolidWorks CAD software.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding and extrusion design.
• Familiarity with metrology tools and statistical analysis methods.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
