Product Development Lead – Consumer Products

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end product development for merchandise across categories.
• Manage vendor communication for sampling timelines and approvals to ensure on-time delivery.
• Direct design direction with vendors to ensure brand vision and quality standards.
• Track development pipeline, calendars, costs, and milestones for launches.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Show Teams and Creative to produce ready-to-sell products.
• Maintain product development documentation, including specs, samples, pricing, and vendor records.

🎯 Requirements

• Associates degree in Business/ Merchandising/ Design/ Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in traditional or non-traditional retail; entertainment industry preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
• Strong time management and prioritization.
• Knowledge of ethical sourcing and sustainability a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products (asset).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
