Product Director, Core Banking and Payments

📋 Description

• Build and optimize cross-border fiat rails across markets for uptime.
• Select rails (T+0 vs T+1) to support instant trading.
• Structure partnerships to ensure liquidity for mass pay-outs, settlements, and institutional clients.
• Improve pay-in acceptance across cards and transfers via processor optimization and rules.
• Lead commercial negotiations and direct bank integrations for favorable rates and service levels.
• Design a real-time routing engine to choose the best rail by user, currency, and risk.

🎯 Requirements

• 7–10+ years leading product, with 7+ years in payment infra/core banking.
• Proven success building cross-border rails in high-volume real-time environments.
• Direct bank integrations and commercial partnership negotiation experience.
• Led payment orchestration and dynamic routing logic in production.
• Experience building fiat solutions for institutional clients (segregated accounts, bulk APIs).
• Background in trading, exchange, or fintech environments.
• Technical acumen across complex API products, data flows, and payment protocols.
• Hands-on with core banking platforms or payment scheme integrations (SWIFT, SEPA, FPS, ACH).
