Product Manager, Billing

📋 Description

• Own the Billing product area roadmap, outcomes, and quarterly goals.
• Partner with Engineering to deliver resilient billing systems (idempotency, retries, monitoring).
• Improve revenue protection via dunning, failed payments, refunds, and chargebacks.
• Define and maintain billing domain docs: data model, event flows, edge cases.
• Run discovery with internal teams and customers; turn insights into PRDs.
• Establish and track core Billing KPIs (e.g., failed payment rate).

🎯 Requirements

• 4–7 years of product management experience with 1–2 years in a complex domain.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, refunds/chargebacks, and reconciliation.
• Proven ability to work with engineers on backend design trade-offs and ship reliable systems.
• Comfort with data: defining metrics and using analysis to prioritize impact.
• Clear written communication and structured thinking; turn ambiguity into executable plans.
• High ownership, discipline, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
