📋 Description

• Translate user and product goals into model requirements and research priorities.
• Build closed loops turning usage and signals into datasets, evaluations, experiments, and training priorities.
• Define success with offline and online metrics balancing quality, latency, safety.
• Partner with Research, Engineering, Model Design, and Data Science to integrate capabilities into the mainline model stack.
• Create platforms for evaluation, experimentation, and signal collection to accelerate improvement.
• Use product failures and user needs to identify gaps and hypotheses for next waves of research and product investment.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep product mgmt expertise with ownership of complex products.
• Fluency in search/retrieval, recommendations, ML platforms, data systems, and model evaluation.
• Ability to pair offline evaluation with online experiments; distinguish meaningful metrics.
• Earn trust of researchers and engineers through technical depth and crisp judgment.
• Balance user needs with rigorous, scalable infrastructure.
• Move quickly in ambiguity; communicate clearly; drive decisions.
