Product Manager - Devices

📋 Description

• Own the vehicle data roadmap end-to-end: on-device CAN/J1939/OBD-II capture to VDS.
• Drive the VDS roadmap with ADAS integration and alert decoration for safety events.
• Partner with internal PMs across safety, analytics, compliance, and coaching to enable data solutions.
• Define OEM integration strategy to expand data coverage and support proprietary protocols.
• Translate requirements into PRDs and user stories, coordinating with hardware/CAN teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, CS or a related field.
• 5+ years in industry; at least 3 in product management in tech or automotive.
• Experience with vehicle data systems: CAN (J1939), OBD-II, vehicle telemetry.
• Knowledge of ADAS tech and how safety events surface via CAN or proprietary interfaces.
• Platform thinking; ability to design extensible data products and interfaces.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter; thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
