Product Manager, Tailscale-Native Apps

📋 Description

• Own the roadmap for native apps: TSNet, tailscale-rs, CLI.
• Define what a "Tailscale-native app" means; create patterns/docs.
• Own the end-to-end developer experience: onboarding, docs, UX.
• Set the Rust SDK strategy: which features to port and order.
• Treat the CLI as a product: scripting ergonomics and automation.
• Run the internal dogfood loop with Aperture and PAM teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in product management or software engineering moving to product.
• Shipped developer-facing features used in production; strong design.
• Can read Go and/or Rust; discuss API/SDK design credibly.
• Taste for API ergonomics, docs, and getting-started flows.
• Customer research via GitHub issues, Discord, and office hours.
• Turn ambiguous scope into shipped increments and communicate progress.
