Product Security Engineer II

📋 Description

• Partner with product/engineering to identify app security risks and next steps.
• Read code, configs, PRs, logs, and docs to surface risks.
• Contribute small code changes, scripts, or automation to improve AppSec.
• Work in GitHub to review code changes, discuss context, and track remediation.
• Evaluate vulnerabilities from testing, bug bounty, tooling; prioritize by risk.
• Build vulnerability management workflows, including triage, remediation guidance, tracking.

🎯 Requirements

• 0-2+ years in application security or related fields.
• Foundational Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Kotlin.
• Comfortable reading, navigating, and reasoning about code.
• Experience with Git and GitHub workflows (PRs, reviews, branches).
• Hands-on experience building/testing secure software.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable automation scripts.
