Product Security Engineer II

📋 Description

• Partner with product and engineering to identify app security risks and business impact.
• Read code, configuration, PRs, logs, and docs to understand systems.
• Contribute small code changes, scripts, detections, or automation to improve AppSec.
• Review code changes in GitHub and coordinate with engineers.
• Evaluate vulnerabilities from testing, bug bounty, tooling, and pentests.
• Translate recurring findings into repeatable guidance, checklists, or automation.

🎯 Requirements

• 0–2+ years in application security or related security engineering.
• Foundational programming in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Kotlin, or similar.
• Comfort reading and reasoning about code in unfamiliar codebases.
• Experience with Git and GitHub workflows (PRs, reviews, tracking).
• Hands-on experience building, testing, or securing software.
• Ability to write clear scripts to automate tasks and analyze data.
