Production Lead Operator

📋 Description

• Coordinate areas and shift responsibilities and work with the team leader to improve shift
• Conduct quality checks to ensure a great customer experience
• Be the go-to person for all other operatives on shift
• Attend daily review meetings, appointing other operatives duties and appointing staff role change
• Prepare for the shift ahead confirming enough materials and stock are prepared
• Perform machine/equipment hygiene and changeovers

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience as a line leader or area leader within the food manufacturing sector
• Ability to read and communicate confidently in English
• Numerate (able to understand and work with numbers)
• Available for a rotating shift schedule - a mixture of days / nights and some weekend working
• Hard-working and diligent with a hunger to learn
• Comfortable working with raw materials such as beef, pork, chicken, turkey, lamb
