Production Manager – Blue Man Group North American Tour

📋 Description

• Lead all technical and operational aspects of the touring production across stops.
• Oversee department heads (Audio, Lighting, Video, Carpentry, Props, Wardrobe) and crews.
• Collaborate with Production Stage Manager for safe, on-time performances.
• Manage load-ins/loadouts/changeovers with venues and local labor.
• Maintain sets, equipment, and instruments per safety and standards.
• Manage technical budgets and expenses within approved limits.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technical theatre or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in technical or production management for touring.
• Knowledge of lighting, audio, video, carpentry, rigging, props, wardrobe.
• Proven success managing touring crews across multiple cities.
• Strong project management, scheduling, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Vectorworks or AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and budgeting tools.
