Production Team Leader

📋 Description

• Plan daily and weekly production to ensure sufficient media is available for laboratory demand
• Set clear daily priorities, allocate work and use shift-start or tier meetings to review safety
• Monitor stock levels, batch rotation, expiry dates and replenishment to maintain supply while
• Ensure media is produced safely, consistently and in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Maintain strong standards of workplace organisation, cleanliness and visual control using 5S
• Ensure correct PPE is used and COSHH requirements, risk assessments and safe systems of work are

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a supervisor or team lead role within a manufacturing, production, laboratory
• Relevant manufacturing, engineering, science, food, pharmaceutical or operations qualification, or
• Understanding of safe production environments, standard operating procedures, quality checks and
• Knowledge of production planning, stock control, equipment care and continuous-improvement
• Awareness of root-cause analysis and corrective action.
• Proven experience meeting safety, quality and delivery targets while managing changing priorities.
