📋 Description

• Provide professional-fee coding services supporting healthcare clients, with a primary focus on
• Calculate appropriate professional-fee E/M levels and assign CPT codes for cardiothoracic surgical
• Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to the highest level of specificity supported by clinical
• Accurately assign CPT®, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and applicable ICD-10-PCS codes in accordance with
• Interpret and apply coding guidelines to ensure accurate, compliant code assignment.
• Review clinical documentation and assess its impact on coding decisions and reimbursement.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional-fee cardiothoracic surgery coding experience is required.
• Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience.
• Current coding certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory, with
• Strong working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and relevant coding guidelines and methodologies.
• Experience working with electronic medical records, billing platforms, and related healthcare
