Program Associate

📋 Description

• Support VCREA’s rebranding with logo and brand materials.
• Develop outreach content: newsletters, emails, social posts.
• Assist regional climate planning with research and stakeholder outreach.
• Maintain contact lists and craft communications for newsletters and forms.
• Support grant-funded projects, including EV charging outreach and GIS data.
• Prepare notes and materials for VCREA Board meetings.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in sustainability or related field.
• Experience coordinating with partners across agencies or networks.
• Working knowledge of CA climate action, energy efficiency, or resiliency topics.
• Familiarity with Canva, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Google Forms.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts.
• Ability to work onsite on hybrid basis within commuting distance.
