Program Coordinator for Adult Day Program

📋 Description

• Provide hands-on direct support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist individuals with personal care, mobility, meals, communication, and daily needs.
• Model and implement behavior supports, including de-escalation techniques.
• Lead by example and provide day-to-day guidance to DSP staff.
• Complete accurate progress notes, reports, and data tracking.
• Communicate professionally with families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred; or equivalent exp.
• Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with ID/DD.
• At least 1 year in adult day, vocational, residential, behavioral health, or related service.
• HS diploma/GED; 21+; valid CA driver's license; ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Confident, professional communicator; able to lead and coach peers.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
