Program Manager - Reactor

📋 Description

• Plan and track reactor projects; align schedules and milestones.
• Track budget and staffing for multi-year programs.
• Maintain project plans in Jira, Jira Big Picture, and Confluence.
• Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders across reactor, engineering, lasers and science.
• Own risk and change management; maintain risk registers and mitigations.
• Interface with program management, finance, and SST departments; liaise with suppliers and regulators.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's or higher in nuclear engineering/physics; PhD preferred.
• Extensive R&D and engineering PM experience; nuclear/experimental physics preferred.
• Fluent in English and German; strong communication and time-management.
• Familiar with Jira, Jira Big Picture, and Confluence.
• Experience with risk/change management in safety-critical programs; EVM knowledge.
• Ability to present complex scientific content to non-technical stakeholders and regulators.
