Project Accountant

📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and submit monthly progress billings and forecasts matching explicit contracting
• Collect, track, and execute conditional and unconditional lien waivers for progress and final
• Coordinate required compliance documentation, including certified payroll, insurance certificates
• Monitor and analyze project budgets, commitments, actual costs, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to track, account for, and incorporate approved and pending
• Actively monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports for assigned projects and follow up with

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience with significant experience in the construction
• Deep, hands-on experience submitting complex billing packages directly to General Contractors and
• Thorough understanding of AIA billing procedures, schedule of values, percentage-of-completion
• Quality communicator, with the ability to confidently interface with General Contractor accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred (equivalent hands-on
