Project Accountant

📋 Description

• Set up new projects in ERP with budgets, billing terms, and revenue methods
• Monitor project performance: labor, expenses, consultant costs, profitability
• Analyze budget vs actual performance and earned revenue
• Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain budgets and forecasts
• Ensure proper project coding and cost allocation
• Prepare and process client invoices, including progress billing

🎯 Requirements

• 3-7 years of project-based accounting experience
• Experience in civil engineering, architecture, or professional services preferred
• Strong understanding of project accounting principles
• Knowledge of billing methods (percent complete, time & materials, lump sum)
• Proficient in job costing and budgeting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
