Project Designer, Mechanical Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead planning, design, and coordination of mechanical systems.
• Develop HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
• Prepare construction documents and BIM models.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and vendors.
• Review drawings, calculations, and specs for compliance.
• Support project execution through site observations and RFIs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; HVAC load calculation software experience preferred.
• Experience with plumbing and fire protection system design.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of building codes and basic project budgeting concepts.
