Project Director – Engineering & Construction (Renewable Energy)

📋 Description

• Lead multiple utility-scale wind, solar, and BESS projects from pre-construction through COD.
• Direct leadership to project managers and construction teams across sites.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Asset Management for seamless handoff.
• Establish governance, reporting, and performance tracking for all projects.
• Drive execution strategies and contracting models (EPC, multi-contract, hybrid).
• Own budgets, schedules, and risk management; mitigate execution risks.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in utility-scale energy or infrastructure project execution, with renewables.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or large-scale capital projects ($200M+).
• Strong understanding of EPC and multi-contract structures.
• Experience operating within an IPP, developer, or EPC organization.
• Deep knowledge of construction execution, interconnection processes, and grid integration.
