Project Leader, Structural | Engineering & Design

📋 Description

• Leading teams of engineers and modellers to deliver high quality structural solutions across complex projects
• Liaising with clients, architects, project managers, contractors and other design consultants
• All aspects of design in structural engineering with a focus on Built Form projects, specifically Post Tensioned and mid-high rise concrete structures with Etabs experience
• Preparation of design sketches and details for drafting by technical staff and oversee the design development and documentation
• Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and negotiating variations to designs
• Meeting client expectations of projects being delivered on time and with a high degree of accuracy

🎯 Requirements

• Tertiary level qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 7+ years plus experience in a consulting environment
• Strong and proven leadership & communication skills to liaise and engage with clients and other engineers
• Ability to lead a project, manage budget and programs to meet clients project needs
• Strong fundamental structural engineering, practical understanding, proactive high-level thinking, and high attention to detail
• Exposure to developing structural design across a range of project cycles utilising relevant standards and best practice methodologies
