Property Tax Analyst

📋 Description

• Gather data with external providers to prepare property tax returns nationwide
• Coordinate with fixed asset accounting to ensure data/report accuracy
• Review assessment notices for discrepancies and savings opportunities
• Perform tax research on property tax matters and stay informed on laws/trends
• Manage external consultants and track progress with clear expectations
• Collaborate with government affairs to identify reimbursement programs and incentives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, tax, real estate, finance, or related field
• 2+ years property tax experience in consulting or multi-state company
• Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Knowledge of property tax laws, assessment and valuation
• Experience managing relationships with external consultants
• Experience with property taxes for manufacturing/complex properties
